We left Menifee this morning at 7:30 and arrived in Gallop at 5:10. The drive was uneventful and there was no traffic. I am very tired and need to sleep! I’ll put up our pictures tomorrow. We will be heading to Oklahoma.

In my defense, the reason I play Farmville so much is because we are a military family. Since we move often, I really can’t plant a garden in the back yard. My Farmville farm is portable so I can take it anywhere! So there you go, in mind it really makes sense!!!

Me on my farm!

We are again moving. Not by choice. Well, the moves are never by choice. This time we will be moving to Ft. Leavenworth, KS. We will move this summer. Paul and the animals will move while the girls and I are at camp.

For Paul’s birthday we decided we wanted to make a cake instead of buying one. We have been watching Amazing Wedding Cakes way too much lately and wanted to try fondant. We found premade fondant at Michael’s but were still a little nervous about how it would turn out. We were pleasantly surprised that our cake looked and tasted as good as it did. It was a yellow cake with creamy white frosting. We made the bees ourselves using the fondant and instructions we found on Youtube. We are very proud of ourselves and hope that our cake doesn’t end up on one of my favorite blogs, Cake Wrecks.

Today we had a very yummy lunch! We made pizza pockets! All we had to do was get Pillsbury biscuits, put normal pizza ingredients, roll them up and bake them! Below is a picture of them before we baked them:
Here we have the pizza pockets all done!
